RISING SUN

You rise, I rise
Together, we are here to shine
A light in the darkness
A sign of the heart, yes

You, an eternal Source
Of comfort and warmth
A constant companion in the sky
Smiling down from on High

You are the Life that grows
Seeds into trees, the scent of a rose
The One the morning birds love
To greet with their song

As the moments on our path unfold
You’re always there letting us know
East from west, which way we’re headed
Guiding our way Home

As you paint the horizon
At each day’s goodbye
When it’s time for rest, you remind us
With incandescent blends of red, orange, violet
To let go of what’s behind us

To let go of what’s behind us
Until once again
You rise, we rise
And another cycle begins
